Dad Builds ‘Star Wars’ Rocking Horse For His Daughter’s First Birthday

Being a dad is a true blessing, and daughters have a special place in their fathers’ hearts. Some dads are extra awesome and their creativity has impressed everyone in this world.

Tez Gelmir made some really cool creations for his son. He wanted to celebrate his daughter’s first birthday in a very special way. Gelmir “felt it was her turn to get some project love, and what better way than with her own Speeder Bike?!”

His project is actually inspired from the 74-Z Speeder Bike from Star Wars.

“The 74-Z Speeder Bike is best known for its appearance in the 1983 movie, Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In which Imperial Scout Troopers, on the forest moon of Endor, engage in a vicious chase with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa after the Rebels commandeered the speeder bikes to pursue their foes.”

It was quite a challenge, and Gelmir said he was “happy with the end result and judging by the smiles on the younglings faces, they are too.”

You can actually make this too. All you need is plywood, PVC tubing, screws, bolts, and a 3D printer. Go to Instructables to get the step-by-step instructions.
